Full UK Maritime Coastguard Agency Approval for Oil Tanker Safety Course

Videotel are pleased to announce that the UK Maritime Coastguard Agency has approved our Oil Tanker Safety Course, which supports the requirements under STCW’95 section section A-V/1.

The course was developed in association with the IMO, based on the approved model courses. This approval is in line with STCW requirements and enables Videotel to issue a Flag State approved certificate for successful candidates.

Under the UK MCA the MGN 95 [section 4.5.2], it clearly shows that such a course can be used as an application for re-issued tanker endorsement requirements.

Videotel also has approval for our Tanker Familiarisation Course which meets the requirements of the STCW Code, section A-V/1, paragraph 2-7. Having completed this course, candidates can then consolidate their knowledge by studying the specialised training courses for oil, gas or chemical tankers.
