Module 1.4 Survey Types and Frequency
As a result of successfully completing this Module you will:

  1. Be aware of the need to behave in a professional manner when surveyors and inspectors come on board.
  2. Understand the procedures governing Statutory surveys.
  3. Understand the types of Statutory survey and their periodicity, including the Harmonized System of Survey and Certification, HSSC.
  4. Understand the main types of Class survey including Occasional surveys and be aware of ISM Audits and ISPS Code Certification.
